• Question: Could a dinosaur survive in modern atmosphere?

      That is a good question. Certainly the atmosphere when dinosaurs evolved was different from today’s mix. I think during the Triassic and Jurassic times the levels of carbon dioxide were higher. But I really don’t know. You’ve stumped me!

      As far as I know yes, the level of oxygen etc in the atmosphere was similar at that time, with a bit more Co2 – but I think they would be able to survive.

      Interesting question – I’m not sure, I only deal with dead dinosaurs in the form of fossils. I think the atmosphere was different 65 million years ago, but I’m not sure whether dinosaurs would be OK if they were transported to “now”…
