• Question: Could there be a way to make smoking as addictive as it still is but make it healthier - e.g - not getting lung cancer by smoking..?

      Yeah I guess it could be possible – as we can purify nicotine (hence nicotine patches) – but the main problem is burning things produces particles / soot so smoking would still have that even if we removed things like the tar

      So it would be better to move to nicotine patches or such

      Good question….the inhalation of particles from smoke will always be damaging to the lungs. So I think it would be impossible. You can get fake cigarette which just deliver nicotine into the system and produce no smoke.

      I think addiction is unhealthy in itself, so no.

      Sounds like a great idea – healthy cigarettes! You could make a fortune if you invented those…
