• Question: Did you take science for A-Levels and what Grade did you get for your exams ??

      Nope, in the US the system is different. In High School I took Advanced Placement classes and exams and scored well. I think that’s similar? AP classes count toward university credit.

      No I didn’t do A levels, I did an access course in Physics and maths which is equivalent to A-levels. I got distinction.

      My A-levels were:
      Biology – C
      Sociology – B
      English – C

      So as you can see I didn’t do amazingly well plus looking back I could have made better choices with my subjects. But I did get into the uni I wanted (Leeds) and onto the course I wanted (Biology). Phew!

      I did – I got A’s in Chemistry and Biology

      I did Physics (B), Maths (B), Chemistry (C), Classical Civilization (A) and General Studies (B) – so a mix of traditional sciences and a history topic that I liked.
