• Question: Do animals 'comfort eat' ?

      I don’t think so, but this is one for the biologists!

      I do – if I get evicted, I’m going for a “comfort curry”….

      Interesting question – I’m not an expert on animal behaviour

      I’d guess that probably primates and such as they have emotions may well comfort eat
      but I don’t know nor do I know of any research done on it.

      No, they eat to obtain energy and survive. Although I know a few overfed pets that could be accused of comfort eating!
