I don’t think that a sixth sense has been scientifically proven. How would you know – I guess you’d have to design an experiment to find out!

I guess sixth sense is like intuition. It’s when you feel or sense something. If you have it you’ll know because you’ll be proved right!

I’m not sure there is such a thing, but I’ve certainly had experiences where you just seem to “know” something is going to happen. In reality, this is probably because your brain is subconsciously seeing/hearing/feeling things that your conscious brain does not notice – your brain simply cannot cope with every piece of info that your senses feed to it, so it usually ignores most of it and focusses on just the really important stuff.

But sometimes, some of this “ignored info” fights through, and you stop at just the right instant to avoid being hit by a falling brick, or you just “know” that someone is behind you etc.

Well there is no scientific proof. I someties feel I can communicate with people very close to me like my sister without even speaking, so i guess that is a sixth sense of sorts..
