      Ooooh that’s a big one

Well 1stly we need to reduce our energy needs
2ndly find ways to produce our energy that doesn’t produce green house gases
I know we already know how to do this but we actually need to start using more renewable power

and finally work on ways of trapping CO2 in particular – for example using photosynthetic bacteria to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and possibly even use them to produce electricity

I don’t think humans can change the way they live fast enough to make a differnce to what is already happening – all the recycling and energy-saving that we do is totally blown away by the more wasteful areas of the Earth, primarily the USA. I was in Las Vegas at Easter, and it almost makes you cry when you see how much energy is just wasted there, all day and all night.

So I think we need to look at big engineering fixes, maybe some of the ideas that have been proposed where large screens or mirrors are placed between Earth and the Sun, to try and reduce the amount of solar heating – that might help balance out the heating effects that we have had.

But it will be very difficult to try and solve this problem, if it is still possible to fix the damage at this stage.
