• Question: how long will it take a little child to learn a language and speak it fluently

      I really don’t know as I’m not a psychologist – sorry!

      I guess quite quickly (a few years) as children pick up language faster than adults

      about 6 months. Longer when you get older

      Kids are pretty fluent by about age 5.

      Children begin to speak the native language from about the age of 14 months and usually are talking in sentences by about 2.
