• Question: If you could travel backj in time what would you ask your favourite scientist?

      My favorite scientists are still alive! No need to go back at all. Maybe I should try and email them…

      I’d possibly travel back and meet Watson & Crick (the people who worked out that DNA was a double helix) and ask them about DNA and what they thought about it then – it’s amazing how working out the structure of DNA changed what we know about how our cells work

      I’d like to go and talk to Leonardo da Vinci and ask him where he got all his amazing ideas for inventions from – he was sketching helicopters about 500 years before they were actually made!

      I’d ask Marie Curie if she had ever considered protecting herself from the radiation she was working with. Maybe that might save her life

      Great question. I would ask Tim Burners Lee (inventor of the internet) does he regret not commercialising his invention and therefore not making lots of money! Also I would ask did he know if it would become so important and useful to everyone .
