  I wouldn’t have thought it was true, or they would have health warnings and be banned from sale. It’s the sort of thing that scientists would investigate carefully, as it could potentially be very important. Some deodorants contain metals like zinc and aluminium, as do sun tan creams, so any suggestion that they are dangerous would have to be very carefully investigated.
