Sorry, I’m too old for GCSEs, I did O levels back in about 1984 – I got A’s in physics and chemistry, but I had dropped biology by then, so haven’t done any life sciences since I was about 14 I guess. My best subject was English, and my favourite subject was history – I still wonder whether I should have stuck with them and become a jouranlist or a historian or something….

For science I did separate GCSEs in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Overall I got 6 As and 4 Bs but have completely forgotten what I got in each subject. It was a long time ago now and so much as happened since! Good luck with yours.

In the states we don’t have GCSEs, we take SATs and SATII subject tests. Darned if I can recall what I got on them though!

I didn’t do GCSEs, I went to college and did an access course there in maths and physics in the evening.
