      I think it was illegal

      I’m glad Saddam Hussein is no longer in power but any war will result in civilian deaths and suffering which is deeply upsetting.

      I think it’s not a good thing and wasn’t a good thing for us to do in the 1st place.

      That said now we’ve done it I think it’s our responsibility to make the country stable and better and we shouldn’t just walk away until we’ve done that.

      That’s a very tricky one – I have friends who have served out in Iraq, and so I’m fully behind the soldiers who have to go out there and do an extremely difficult and dangerous job. I think now that we are there, where have to stay until the job is finished, and the country is table – but I’m not sure it can really be made safe and stable while our soldiers are there. So it’s a very complicated situation. But as we helped cause this mess in the first place, by invading Iraq, I think it is our responsibility to help fix it.
