• Question: what experiments would you create with your students whilst using the air/water rockets?

      I have some rockets that have mini-cameras fitted to them, so that they take pictures as they are drifting back down on parachutes – so we can do some geography with those images. I also have little devices that measure things like acceleration, speed and altitude, so we can plot graphs to show how the rocket flew, then try to make them fly better by modifying the fins etc.

      Rockets are a fun way to learn about forces and mtion and gravity, so I like to use them to make these subjects more interesting and enjoyable.
