0 Question: What happens when the mothers heart is attached to the baby's intestines and the baby is only about 6 months old and is fully developed. Asked by pink to Sarah, Mark, Lily, Laura on 22 Jun 2010 in Categories: General.
Lily Asquith answered on 21 Jun 2010:
it isn’t the mother’s heart that is connected to the baby. The umbilical cord is attached from the baby to the placenta.
Mark Roberts answered on 21 Jun 2010:
Has this ever happened?
Do you mean when the baby is in the womb?
Sarah Bardsley answered on 21 Jun 2010:
The mother and baby are connected via the umbilico cord not from the heart to the intestines.
Laura Maliszewski answered on 22 Jun 2010:
I’m not sure what your question is. There isn’t any physical connection between a pregnant lady’s heart and the baby’s intestines. Babies grow inside the uterus, a separate chamber in a woman’s body.
