Sarah Bardsley answered on 23 Jun 2010:
I’m loving Red Lights by Delphic at the moment.
I know the there’s a band called We Are Scientists!
Mark Roberts answered on 23 Jun 2010:
There are lots of science songs out there!
For example there is a metabolism rap
From CERN you get these: http://musiclub.web.cern.ch/MusiClub/bands/cernettes/
and there is the biochemist’s song book http://www.csulb.edu/~cohlberg/songbook.html
finally there is the yearly science music competition http://geekpop.podbean.com/
As for my favourite song – I think if you mean ever it would have to be something like “Sittin on the dock of the bay”
For a ‘mainstream’ science song- I really like “Chemistry” by Semisonic
Paul Roche answered on 23 Jun 2010:
At the moment my favourite song is probably Thunderstruck by AC/DC, but that’s an old song – although they did the soundtrack to Ironman 2 recently.
Lily Asquith answered on 23 Jun 2010:
This afternoon I like “No surprises” by Regina Spektor. It’s a bit sad though.
This morning I liked “Pass the dutch” by Missy Elliott.
Neither of them are very sciency!
