• Question: why is your profile picture a little boy?

      This was me when I was first starting to think about being a scientist I reckon – I was about 4, and apparently used to spend a lot of time digging in the garden, and bringing in worms and bugs to show my parents. I’ve always been interested in finding out about stuff, and sort of became an astronomer by accident – I really want to be a sports scientist or a geologist!

      This was me when I was cute(ish!), despite the ginger hair and freckles – the hair is no longer ginger (or all there…), but the freckles are still there.

      I can change it to a picture of me as I am now if you like? I just thought this was a nice picture of me (there aren’t many!) showing me being a “biologist”.

      p.s. I apologise for the hideous jumper I am wearing in that picture, it was very fashionable then I’m sure…
